Loose bolts are the bolt component of a shield anchor system, used together with an expanding shield to create a mechanical fixing into masonry or concrete. They're used for fixing structural steel, handrails, brackets and other heavier site fixings, mainly by builders, steel erectors and maintenance teams. Loose bolts sit within our wider Concrete Anchors range alongside Through Bolts and other concrete fixing options.
Our range covers Tornado options across five diameters. M6 loose bolts are available in 10mm and 40mm lengths, boxed in 50s; M8 is available in 10mm, 25mm and 40mm, also boxed in 50s; and M10 is available in 10mm, 50mm and 75mm lengths, boxed in packs of 25 or 50 depending on length. M12 spans 10mm, 25mm, 40mm and 60mm, boxed in 25s, and M16 covers 15mm, 30mm and 60mm lengths, boxed in 10s. We also stock matching Tornado Bolt Shields in M8 and M16 sizes for use with the corresponding bolt diameter.
